Canadian Caribou

25 x 35 watercolor/gouache, framed – sold

In a private collection of Alex and Don Young, Atlanta, GA

The Canadian countryside is a beautiful area where huge numbers of caribou can freely roam. At times, the red and purple foliage can be so intense, it’s hard to believe it exists before the snow begins. I was more interested in the viewer seeing a portrait of this caribou’s head and face rather than it’s body.
